Just because everyone should have a little Raster Norton in their lives.

Wire did a cover story on them a couple of years ago and included a cd along with the magazine. The music blew my mind and I think it still stands up well even though the glitch aesthetic has gone out of fashion.

I'm kind of glad the glitch style lost a little steam; there was way too many releases flooding the market. But 12k and Raster are still putting out great stuff. The most recent Sakamoto/Noto CD is very, very highly recommended.

It is a lovely combination of melody and glitch!

I haven't heard anything off of 12k in a while although I still wear my tshirt proudly.
